The third plug noise absorber is the long-awaited LAN plug type from Yukimu SAA!

Starting with the PNA-RCA01, YUKIM SAA plug noise absorbers have gained a growing reputation for their evidence-based reliability and effectiveness among those who have experienced them. YUKIMU SAA's plug noise absorbers are now very popular all over the world, allowing users to get close to the original sound and video quality by simply plugging in audio equipment. The PNA-LAN01, newly added to the lineup, was also developed with Masahiro Yamazaki's particular focus. The much-requested LAN terminal type will be a product welcomed by many audiophiles. All PNA series products are shipped after rigorous listening tests by the developer, Masahiro Yamazaki.

□How PNA-LAN01 works and its basic concept:

When it is inserted into a LAN terminal, it absorbs high-frequency noise in the equipment and functions as a conditioner for the original music and video signals.

 

 

□About the technical contents of PNA-LAN01:

・Noise components exist in the equipment are absorbed by a series circuit of resistors and capacitors.

・PURSHUT (electromagnetic wave absorption sheet) absorbs conducted noise from internal circuits.

・Use a low impedance metal case. Absorbs high-frequency noise and increases the virtual GND effect.

 

□About effects of PNA-LAN01 (*About sound quality):

By reducing high-frequency noise inside the equipment, S/N improves, and fine sounds buried in the noise are brought to the surface, improving freshness and resolution, and furthermore, the sense of breakthrough in the high frequency range and extension in the low frequency range are improved, and a three-dimensional and wide sound field can be reproduced.

●Special features of PNA-LAN01:

- Non-magnetic metal die-cast molded LAN (RJ45) terminals

  (*Steel used in some internal parts)

- 1.5mm thick machined brass case (non-magnetic DR plating/copper-tin-zinc ternary alloy plating)

- PCBs are not used Air Wiring

- Gold-plated copper wire (Φ0.7mm) manufactured by Amtrans is used for wiring

  (without nickel plating underneath)

- Styrofoam condenser manufactured by LCR (U.K.) used

- Use of high sound quality resistor AMRG made by Amtrans

- Electromagnetic wave absorbing material Asahi Kasei PULSHUT used

- Solder with silver

- RoHS compliant (RoHS compliant materials and parts are used)

●Design Policy of Sound Quality (message from the developer/designer of Mr. Masahiro Yamazaki)

The PNA series aims to bring out more of the 'life dynamic' inherent in your equipment and sound sources by reducing noise. There are many noise-reducing accessories on the market, but experience has shown that they tend to have side-effects in contrast to their noise-reducing effect, so the PNA Series has been designed with the utmost care.

The most common side-effect is the phenomenon of dead sound. We achieved noise reduction without reducing the momentum, extension, vitality and soul of the sound. A common side-effect is that, as a result of noise reduction, the fine audio signal also becomes less impressive, as the surface is polished and the dirty sound is gone, but the music becomes small, clean and tidy. This side-effect has been taken into account and noise reduction has been focused on the high-frequency noise that has a negative impact on sound quality. All design elements are determined by listening tests.

1977, Matsushita Electronics (current Panasonic) joined.

Since then, consistently engaged in electrical circuit design of audio equipment and LD/DVD/BD disc players, including Technics brand products. Developed high quality sound through circuit technology, low noise and other ideas. Retired in 2019 and started the Rakuon Club in 2020. Continues research into high quality sound based on low noise, develops original audio accessory products, and is involved in a wide range of activities, including development support, advice and lectures for audio-related electronics manufacturers.
